What's new
Everything worth knowing that shipped, a week at a time, written from the commits that shipped it. Safety and money fixes are listed under their own names, not folded into "bug fixes".
Latest: October 3, 20268 releases since July 19, 2026
- Week of Sep 28
A landing page that refuses, and calmer daily screens
The first pass of a craft plan across the screens a club opens most, and a landing page that runs the real weight and balance engine.
New
- The landing page carries a dispatch card that computes weight and balance from N1433F's handbook. Push the load past a limit and it refuses, with the reason, the fix and the handbook it came from.
Improved
- The fleet timeline shows aircraft that are overdue, due back or missed, in your organization's own time zone, and carries over aircraft still out from the day before.
- The booking composer will not offer a slot that is already taken, and phones get an agenda view of the schedule.
- Dragging a booking can be cancelled with Esc, a taken slot reads amber instead of red, and the overdue sheet leads with time elapsed, the pilot's phone and the last ADS-B position.
- Your home screen checks the next flight against you, the aircraft, fuel, weight and balance and weather. An unverified weight and balance is never shown green.
- The checklist runner was rebuilt, and the cockpit view keeps working offline.
- Logbook entries open in their own sheet and read as cards on a phone.
- An organization's dashboard shows trends and a setup checklist, and adding an aircraft takes fewer steps.

9ede243,7794e8d,a42f2e5 Three weight and balance gaps closed, and a button that means its number
Fixes found by reading the weight and balance code against handbooks with more than one baggage area, and the charge that a check-in button quotes.
New
- A handbook on the shared shelf can be withdrawn in minutes, without waiting for a release.
Safety
- The baggage placard is enforced when a load is split across compartments, and each compartment's own limit is now checked.
- A placeholder weighing no longer shows as a passed weight and balance check on the schedule, the checkout or the printed flight sheet.
- The printed weight and balance sheet no longer drops the baggage on handbooks with more than one baggage area.
Money
- The check-in button shows the full amount the card will be charged, card fee included, and buying block hours asks before it charges.
Fixed
- The 1971 Cessna 172L handbook got its own table checks. It was the one attachable handbook without them.
- Pages that need permission to view now check it on the page itself, not only in the sidebar.
- The hourly demo cleanup can no longer reach a real customer's organization.

Billing that itemizes, and an instructor's view of each student
Dues, instruction time, sales tax and aircraft costs, plus a page per student for instructors.
New
- Clubs can bill monthly dues, and a member can carry their own rate.
- Schools can bill the instructor's time alongside the aircraft, at instruction rates they set.
- A charge is itemized line by line, including sales tax and the amount it is charged on.
- Each aircraft shows what it costs to run, repeating costs included, and whether it makes money.
- Instructors get a page per student, roster cards they can act on, and lessons that open into that flight's numbers.
- Organizations can divide a larger fleet into groups of their own.
- Each of the six live demos looks like its own kind of operation, and every demo aircraft has a handbook, a weighing and a flying history.
Improved
- A handbook says plainly when it is not this aircraft's own.
- The flight planner says where its fuel requirement came from when there is no route.
- Checking in someone else's flight is now a deliberate step.
Money
- Retrying a declined card could charge the pilot twice. It cannot now.
- Revenue tiles count only money that has been paid.
- All 25 findings from an adversarial review of how money is charged and added up are closed.

A directory of clubs and instructors, and view as role
Public discovery for clubs and CFIs, and a way for owners to see their organization the way a member does.
New
- Find a club or CFI: one directory with a map, where each tab starts from the pilot's own goal.
- Instructors can publish a profile of their own, without belonging to a club.
- A message sent from a club or instructor profile arrives in their Taxiway Bravo inbox, and they reply from there.
- Owners and admins can preview their organization as any role. A preview can only remove access, never add it.
- The live demo comes in scenarios: school, club, operator, owner, CFI, or all of them together.
Improved
- Settings save themselves as you go.

A live demo anyone can open
A working organization you can try without signing up.
New
- Try the live demo from the landing page: a working organization that resets itself every hour.
Fixed
- The schedule's hover preview named one time and booked another. They now agree.

Weight and balance never invents a center of gravity
A safety audit of every weight and balance path, and the type and motion system the app is drawn with.
Improved
- A new type scale, color that means something, and motion that only explains a change.
Safety
- Weight and balance never invents a center of gravity. Without a real empty weight and moment it says unknown.
- Baggage areas are separate stations, each loaded at its own arm.
- An aircraft without a handbook gets no numbers, never another aircraft's.
- Landing distance now accounts for temperature.
- A figure the handbook does not publish is shown as not published, never as a number.
Money
- Member balances settle correctly, and a bad flight plan can no longer erase a charge.
Fixed
- Checklists keep your place when you switch tabs.

More handbooks, a flight planner, and a pre-launch audit
Four more type handbooks, a planner for your own flights, member balances, and the fixes from a security, safety and money audit.
New
- Four more handbooks digitized: the Cessna 172N and 172P, the Piper PA-28-161 and the Mooney M20F. The verification page shows which are proven.
- A personal flight planner with routes and VOR radials, and plans you can save and load into a booking.
- Member account balances: a prepaid balance or a running tab.
- Block hours are sold per aircraft and drawn down at check-in.
- An organization can require a pilot to be signed off on a tail before renting it.
- Save a handbook for offline use, with a prompt to install the app.
- The flown ADS-B track draws on the flight page, colored by altitude.
Safety
- Three transcription errors corrected in the 172H takeoff table.
- Night currency counts landings from one hour after sunset, as 61.57(b) requires.
- Preflight gates refuse rather than pass when data is missing.
Money
- The card fee is added for the payer, so the club receives the full rental.
- Two check-ins at once can no longer overspend the same block hours.
Fixed
- Findings from a security audit, closed.

- A week schedule with rescheduling, and an activity log for dispatch.
- An organization media library.
